Personalized product recommendations are product suggestions chosen for a particular shopper, rather than the same list for everyone.
A recommendation is a product the store puts forward. It is personalized when the list changes with something about that shopper: what they asked, what they already looked at, what they bought, or a trait they told the store. The same heading, "you may also like," can sit on either kind of list. The heading does not tell you which kind you are looking at.
Personalization has a range. The narrow version is a rule: people who bought this also bought that, computed once and shown to everyone on that product page. The wider version uses the current conversation. A shopper who asked for a gift under a budget should not see the same four products as a shopper who asked for a replacement part. Both can be called recommendations. Only the second one is using what this shopper just said.
On Vorena, the recommendation in the chat is the second kind: it comes from the question the shopper asked and from that store's catalog. Cross-sell and bundles are a separate feature. They are coming on Growth, and they are not part of Lite or Starter. Photo search and upsell suggestions are coming on Growth as well. None of those are live on the plans you can buy today.
What the product does today is listed on Features. How a recommendation inside a conversation differs from a search grid is on the AI shopping assistant page.
What Vorena charges
Vorena uses flat monthly plans with a conversation allowance. It is not unlimited. Only Lite ($29 a month, 100 products and 50 conversations) and Starter ($99 a month, 250 products and 500 conversations) can be bought today. A conversation counts toward the allowance when it starts, and the allowance resets monthly. At the limit, the Vorena chat is hidden from the store until the allowance resets next month or the plan is upgraded. Chats already under way can finish. Nothing on Lite or Starter charges for extra conversations. Growth and Scale are coming soon. Plan changes go through Shopify. The pricing page lists both plans.
